Questions

I just want the medication. Why a membership?

The membership covers the doctor who prescribes the medication, four visits valued at $1,196, and $1,596 in lab testing every year. Your Peak doctor orders your labs, reads them against your symptoms, adjusts your dose, and manages everything else that changes in midlife.

Is this only menopause care?

No. Menopause is where most members start. Your Peak doctor is a longevity physician who also manages your cholesterol, blood pressure, thyroid, brain health, bone density, weight, and the prescriptions you already take.

Why is there a membership fee if I have insurance?

Your insurance covers your visits and medication. The $99 covers what it doesn’t: four lab panels a year, unlimited messaging, prior authorizations, nutrition consultations, and one doctor who manages all of it together.

Does Peak take my insurance?

Yes. On the $99 plan, your visits and medications are billed to your insurance and your normal copay applies. You add your insurance details in the Peak app after you join.

What will my medication cost?

Anything your insurance covers goes to your pharmacy at your usual copay. If a medication isn’t covered, your doctor tells you the cash price before prescribing it. Compounded options are available for what insurance won’t cover.

Can one doctor really manage hormones and heart risk at the same time?

Yes. Peak doctors are trained in longevity medicine and review cardiovascular risk as part of every hormone decision, so you aren’t waiting on a referral to clear a prescription.

Will I definitely be prescribed something?

Your Peak doctor decides with you after your first visit. Most members start treatment at that visit when it’s clinically appropriate.

Can Peak replace my primary care doctor?

For some members, yes. Peak is longevity primary care, and your doctor will tell you if something needs an in-person visit or a specialist. Some members keep a local doctor as well.

What states are you in?

California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington, with more coming.

Can I get peptides through Peak?

Yes, if your doctor believes they will help. Peptides are prescribed only after reviewing your biomarkers and treatment plan, and are sourced from 503A and 503B US pharmacies.

How quickly do I get lab results and medication?

Your first visit is within 3 to 5 days, and your doctor can start a prescription at that visit. Your first lab panel comes back within two weeks, and your plan is adjusted from there.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Membership is monthly, and you can cancel anytime before your next billing date.
